BEHIND THE SCENES
Meet some of those making it happen…
“This is a force multiplier!
Every $10 given to the crowdfunder is like giving $100
to the nonprofit because of the national exposure we get.”
– Mike Evock, Founder of Racing For Heroes
Retired Special Forces Chief Warrant Officer Three (CW3-180A)
Our American Dream Team
The American Dream …the belief that through sacrifice, risk-taking, and hard work, anyone can reach their own version of success regardless of where they were born or what class they were born into.
NASCAR driver Colin Garrett is building the first NASCAR team dedicated to promoting the causes that are important to the military community and help them live the American Dream they’ve given so much to protect.
Both of Colin’s older brothers are active duty Army, making their family 2x Blue Star, and his marketing strategist is a milspouse whose husband retired from the Navy with 26 years of service.
Colin promotes the free suicide prevention services of Racing For Heroes and entrepreneur services of The Rosie Network, veteran & milspouse owned businesses, and companies that care about the military community.
25% of active duty are NASCAR fans and 18% of NASCAR fans are veterans.
It’s the best place to reach the military community outside of bases and installations. Contact us to explore how we can work together.
Racing For Heroes provides free mental & physical health, job placement, and motorsports as therapy services to help fight the epidemic of Veteran suicide. During 2019 Colin Garrett Racing donated almost $750,000 in free promotional services to RFH.
The Rosie Network is a national award-winning network of over 30,000 Veteran and Military family-owned businesses around the country. Rosie provides free entrepreneur training services and support to Veterans and milspouses.
An exciting double-overtime finish in Race 2 of the doubleheader ends with Colin Garrett gaining 4 spots in the 2 overtime laps to finish P14.
BodyAqua health waters, the only beverages forged from adversity experienced in a combat zone, is joining the team for the Homestead doubleheader races. Founder CPT Sherman Williams developed the idea when he experienced extreme dehydration in the most unforgiving, arid desert environments of Iraq.
